Alina + Octavian, a Photographic Essay | Stockholm
There’s nothing like the excitement of arriving to a new place. While I have traveled extensively around Europe, this is my first time to visit it t, which makes it particularly fantastic. A city where modernity meets tranquility. This is how I`ve been welcomed to a city where it is easy to breathe – and to feel your pulse. But this isn`t about just a city, if it wasn`t for the beautiful people I met there such as Alina and Octavian who were so kind to invite me over for their civil marriage ceremony that took place in the mid of November and to do their photo session in Stockholm where they live. Thank you again for looking after me in those memorable couple of days that I truly cherish.
Just walk with us around the narrow streets and wide boulevards of the Old Town and the modern city and you may be reminded of Monet’s Giverny home, though on a grander scale. You might sense the similarities in the bridges over canals, the wandering walkways, the arresting vistas that seemed planned with an artist’s eye, the reflections from water in all its forms. Whatever it may be, clearly there is something in the soul of Sweden that demands refinement, in the most literal sense of that word, and which finds glorious expression in Stockholm.
